The 'Rovers Summer Ball took place at the 'Royal Seven Stars' Hotel, Totnes.

By auctioning a range of 'promises' kindly donated by many local people the club raised over £5,000 towards the cost of levelling the field at Butts Cross and providing the club and the village with its first usable playing field.
